Welcome to Sheba Tandoori — Whitley Bay’s Oldest Indian Takeaway

Established in 1980, Sheba Tandoori has proudly served Whitley Bay for over 40 years. As the town’s longest-standing Indian takeaway, we’re honoured to share the warmth of authentic Indian cuisine with our community.

  • I’ve been coming here for a long time, and it’s always worth the trip. I travel 11 miles from Gosforth every week just for this curry! My usual order is Chicken Tikka Main, Chicken Tikka Punjabi Mossala, a Mixed Kebab Starter, Keema Naan, and Onion Pilau. The food is consistently delicious, the flavours are authentic, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Easily the best curry around
